Game Jams
I love participating in game jams with my friends, and have done so 16 times by now.
They are a great opportunity for me to learn and try new things that I maybe wouldn't otherwise. I have for example learned a lot more about Unity and Godot as engines through game jams and they are also the reason why I started learning Godot to begin with!
I also think game jams are a great way to be creative, have fun with coming up with new ideas and to design games, and I find it very fun to go outside the realm of just programming. I always enjoy taking a big part in coming up with the concepts for the games we make and turning them into a cohesive whole. Sometimes I also do a decent amount of graphical work when we don't have a dedicated artist on the team which I find fun.
The list below is roughly in chronological order with the newest game first but is also biased towards the games I am more happy with. Those lists ended up rather correlated, funny how that works huh? It's almost like you get better at things over time.
All of my games can be found and played in a web browser on my itch.io page.
